Welcome to FIBE Fellowship
Founded in 2017, FIBE Fellowship has impacted nearly 200 community members and has grown into a developed, diverse cohort of over 100 students striving to advance financial literacy and business education within Mission Hills High School – where economics and business courses are not offered on campus. With activities ranging from competitions to guest speakers to group discussions, we aim to make an impact on the youth and help them to become more aware of the opportunities available to them in finance, investments, business, and economics.

FinanceNo matter the field, finance will always be intertwined with and influence how decisions are made. There are countless financial factors at play that require consumers to consider the ramifications of a certain decision: ultimately, how it will affect their personal finances, whether that come in the form of struggling with budgeting, saving, investing, or spending. We're here for you.

InvestmentsIn a world awash with information and all kinds of monetary opportunities, it is easier now than ever to invest and make better-informed financial decisions. Whether it be through cryptocurrencies or commodities or mutual funds, consumers are not strictly limited to anything anymore – and we're here to let our members know that and how they can become better retail investors in today's world.

BusinessBusiness – the most popular undergraduate college major in the nation – remains a pillar of today's world as its expansiveness allows it application in every corner of society. From the products sold at the local bakery to services offered by the popular bike repair shop, a thorough understanding of business allows our members to navigate the world after high school and explore career fields like accounting, banking, consulting, and advising.

EconomicsAs one of the most practical multidisciplinary fields, economics' applications and implications can be observed on a daily basis globally. The economic systems at play are not only typically concerned with money and currency, but they're primarily concerned with how anyone anywhere at any time can make the best use of any resource to maximize efficiency – deliberate politicians, prospective college students, and even the unsure shoppers at the local grocery market.

When I joined FIBE, it was of mere interest and to support a friend. But after attending all these meetings, I began to see the real-world impacts these fields have and it's inspired me to pursue stock trading and investing outside of school. It's made me much more aware.

FIBE Fellowship has been a great opportunity for me to interact with business-minded adults in the form of guest speakers. Additionally, it's very inspiring to see the large group of my peers that are dedicated to learning financial planning and exploring paths that will aid them in preparation for a successful future.

How We're Different.
We're not just a typical high school business club. Or an investing club. Or a finance club. Or an economics club. Together, finance, investments, business, and economics forms the foundation of FIBE Fellowship, where we do whatever it takes to make students at Mission Hills High School better-informed and better-prepared to navigate the world outside and after high school. Much more that, the underlying theme tying in all those fields together is through entrepreneurship: the notion that you don't have to be an

adult to create and build off of big ideas. You can do it right now. Through the fields our club promotes, we reinforce that entrepreneurship sparks creativity and practicality, making it easier for us to continue to grow and learn from each other. No matter what you're interested in, entrepreneurship is the route anyone can take to expand beyond their horizons. Working for yourself and working to solve the world's problems is, in our opinion, the most meaningful way to work. You control your own destiny, no one else.
